# Pinboard troubleshooting

> Resolve missing controls, failed product imports, cutout issues, approval errors and incomplete exports.

| Problem                                             | What to check and do                                                                                                                                                            |

| I cannot find Share, Save PDF or Add page           | Open **More** on a small or short window.                                                                                                                                       |
| I cannot find Crop, Erase or Details                | Select one image first. Text and arrows have different controls.                                                                                                                |
| An item will not move on my phone                   | Press and hold the item, then drag. A normal swipe is used for scrolling.                                                                                                       |
| A caption moved with its image                      | Attached captions move with the image. Use **Add text** for a separate room note.                                                                                               |
| A pasted link did not create a product              | A source URL is just a reference. Use **Add image → Import from URL** or **From product library** for a linked product.                                                         |
| A vendor URL cannot be imported                     | Check that it is a specific product page. Try the Product Clipper or add the product manually, then place it from the library.                                                  |
| Background removal kept too much or removed an edge | Use **Pixel eraser** and **Restore**, or use a clearer individual product photo.                                                                                                |
| The pixel eraser will not save                      | If the whole image is transparent, use **Reset** or **Restore** to bring some of it back before choosing **Done**.                                                              |
| A client cannot approve a product                   | Check that sharing is enabled and the board has a destination schedule selected in **Shared**. Guests cannot create the missing schedule.                                       |
| An approved image did not appear on a schedule      | Only pins linked to library products create schedule rows. Reference images stay on the board.                                                                                  |
| A copy has a different approval state               | Decisions and schedule links belong to placements. Open the copy's details and check the destination instead of assuming approval carries everywhere.                           |
| An AI edit changed the wrong layout                 | Wait for the edit to finish, use Undo while the history is available, then name the exact page and items in a revised request.                                                  |
| Undo does not restore an old version                | Editing history is session-based. Undo can restore a deleted page while its history is available in the current session. Use dated PDF exports to retain a presentation record. |
| A PDF has a blank image                             | Confirm the image loads on the board, retry, or replace the inaccessible image. Inspect the new PDF before sending.                                                             |
| A client sees old content                           | Ask them to reload the live link. A downloaded PDF does not update.                                                                                                             |

If the problem continues, use **Get help** in Atelier or email [hello@getatelier.design](mailto:hello@getatelier.design). Include what you tried, what you expected, the time of the error and the exact message. Share a screenshot with private client information removed.

## Perspective, page visibility and pasted URLs

| Symptom                                                      | What to check                                                                                                   |

| Perspective is missing                                       | Select one image, then use its toolbar or right-click menu. Text and lines do not use perspective.              |
| Reset did not recover the original photograph                | Reset affects the current corner edit. After Done, use available session Undo or your duplicate.                |
| A page is faded or missing from the client link              | Check **Hide page from clients** in the page bar. Use **Show page to clients** and reload the link.             |
| A hidden page appears in my PDF                              | Designer PDF export includes all pages. Page hiding filters the live client link only.                          |
| A pasted URL changed an image instead of importing a product | Deselect the image and click empty canvas before pasting. A selected image receives the URL as its source link. |
| Create link is unavailable                                   | Select a schedule, or create a named empty schedule inside Share first.                                         |
