Open the schedule, then AI Chat. This gives the assistant the table’s rows and specialised tools. It can inspect the table, add library products, update supported inputs, add or rename custom columns, and change the schedule’s name, room, notes or status when requested.

Give an exact table instruction

Examples:
  • “Set Markup % to 20 for the living room chairs.”
  • “Set the pendant quantity to three and its Space to Dining room.”
  • “Add a Mounting height text column, then set the hallway sconces to 1,650 mm.”
  • “Set the chair’s Tracking # and Carrier to these values.”
Use visible column names. Net cost is what your studio pays, MSRP is the list price, and Selling price is your client-facing unit price. State percentages as percentages. Totals are calculated from inputs; ask to correct the input rather than overwrite a total. Custom columns are simple text fields, not formulas or new sorting/filter logic. Editing a hidden column still changes its data; reveal the relevant column to check the result.

Direct edits and review cards

Tax lookup uses available US rate data and the delivery location, usually the project’s ship-to address. Check the address and returned rate before applying it. If no rate is found, supply the missing location instead of relying on an invented percentage.

Turn source material into products

Ask AI to find existing library products first. It can create a product for a bespoke item, such as millwork described in a vendor quote, and add it to the schedule. Check units, variant, maker, price and quantity against the original. An uncertain match should stay unresolved until you identify the correct row.

Source a requirement slot

For imported specification requirements, ask the assistant to find candidate products in the library and attach them to the slot for comparison. It can record pass/fail checks supported by product information; unknown requirements should remain unset. Ask it to select a candidate only after you decide. Selection fills the requirement row and changes its status to Specified. See Source requirement slots for the full review workflow.

Read and file procurement paperwork

Attach a quote, invoice, order confirmation, packing list or delivery note in the current message. Ask the assistant to save and review it against this project’s schedule. Reading may continue after the initial save; wait for processing before asking for the extracted result. The assistant can find stored procurement documents, read their matches and discrepancies, and propose filling empty schedule fields such as order number, tracking number, ship date, tax or vendor cost. Fill empty fields does not silently replace an existing conflicting value. Review the finding and the proposed changes. Use Project → Documents to inspect the saved paperwork. A product screenshot or inspiration image does not belong in the procurement-document workflow.

Recovery and connector limits

Supported row additions and updates can offer Undo last change while the schedule remains open. Header edits, custom-column changes and sourcing-candidate actions are outside that row-edit recovery. Check the table after any interruption or undo. The external connector can create schedules, add products, and update supported status, quantity and space fields. It does not provide this complete table-editing workflow or schedule-row deletion. Use in-app AI Chat with the schedule open for the features above.
