Before you share
A sensible client-facing column set:
Also worth doing:
- Group by room. Clients read by room, not by category. Organize → group by room.
- Fill the gaps. The project Overview’s No price set and No room assigned cards are the fastest way to spot what will look unfinished.
- Set statuses honestly. Status is the column clients look at hardest.
Share it
Shared in the schedule toolbar creates the link and manages access. Send it however you normally talk to the client. The link is live: changes you make are there next time they open it.What comes back
Nothing, and that’s by design. A shared schedule is read-only — the client can look at what’s specified, what it costs and where it is, but there is no comment box and no approve button on it, so nothing from a schedule share reaches your Inbox. For a client to comment or approve item by item, share a pinboard
instead. Approving a pin that’s linked to a product updates the matching
schedule row automatically, so the schedule stays the record even though
the conversation happens on the board.
