Settings → Team lists everyone in the studio, their role and rate, and who still has a pending invite.

Role and access are two different things

Every member has both, and they do unrelated jobs. Making someone a Design Director does not give them access to finances. Making someone an Admin does not mean they run projects.

Roles

Principal · Design Director · Lead Designer · Senior Designer · Interior Designer · Junior Designer · Design Assistant · Project Manager · Procurement Manager · Drafter (CAD) · Studio Manager · Bookkeeper · Marketing Or — No role —, fine for a two-person studio where everyone does everything.

Access levels

The Member restrictions are set once, studio-wide — not per person. If you need one member to see costs and another not to, that is not something roles can express today; the honest workaround is to make the one who needs costs an Admin.

Inviting someone

1

Invite them

Their email address is all you need.
2

Set the access level

Start at Member. Easier to widen access than to explain why someone saw a margin they shouldn’t have.
3

Set the role

So assignment and reporting mean something.
4

Check what Member sees

Open Studio settings → Member access and decide about budgets, costs and the Finance section before the person logs in, not after.
If freelancers or contractors work in your studio, set Member access first and invite second. The default is generous.
