Atelier exposes an MCP server, so Claude — and any other assistant that speaks the Model Context Protocol — can work with your studio’s data directly. Settings → Claude & MCP.

The server

Works with any MCP client that supports remote servers with OAuth.

Connect in Claude

Available on claude.ai, and it syncs to the Claude desktop and mobile apps — connect once, use it everywhere.

Open connector settings

In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors.

Add a custom connector

Choose Add custom connector.

Add Atelier

Name it Atelier, paste the server URL above, click Add.

Authorise

Sign in with your Atelier account when prompted.

Enable it in a new chat

Start a new chat and enable the Atelier connector from the tools menu.
Connectors added mid-conversation don’t appear in existing chats. If Atelier isn’t in the tools menu, start a new chat.

Then finish the sign-in it opens in your browser.

What you can do

  • Browse projects, clients, tasks, pinboards and schedules
  • Search the product library and capture products from vendor URLs
  • Build FF&E schedules and update item status, quantity and space
  • Manage vendors, clients and their contacts
  • Comment on tasks and hand work to the Atelier AI assistant
  • Start, pause and stop timers

Things worth asking for

  • What’s overdue across all my projects?
  • Which items on the Birchwood schedule are approved but not ordered?
  • Add these four products to the living room schedule — with vendor URLs pasted in.
  • Mark the dining chairs as ordered.
  • Add Holly Hunt as a vendor with this contact.
  • Start a timer on 123 Maple Street.
Capturing several products at once is where this earns its keep. Paste a list of vendor URLs and let it import them, rather than fifteen round trips through the browser.

What it will not do

Finance is not available over the connector. Proposals, invoices, change orders and purchase orders are outside what it can reach — it cannot even read them. Use AI Chat inside Atelier for anything commercial.
Beyond that, the same guardrails apply as in Atelier’s own chat: it writes drafts, and it will not send anything, mark anything paid or accepted, or delete anything.
