The product library is studio-wide. A product you add on one project is available on every other one, with its brand, price, dimensions, finish and images intact. Specify a piece once; reuse it for years. Find it under Library → Products.

What the list shows

The header shows how many products your studio holds — 411 products in your studio. The search box matches on name and brand. It searches the whole library, not the current page, so there is no need to scroll first.
Before adding a product, search for it. Different URLs or manual entries can create separate records. Search for the product and check its variant before importing or adding another copy.

Three ways to add a product

  • Import from URL — Paste a vendor product page. Atelier pulls out the name, brand, price, dimensions and images.
  • Chrome extension — Capture products as you browse, without leaving the vendor’s site.
  • Add manually — For trade pieces, bespoke joinery and anything without a public page.
Import from URL and Add product both sit at the top right of the library.

What a product record holds

Pricing lives in two places on purpose. The library holds the retail price — what the piece generally costs. A schedule row holds what you are paying the vendor on this job and what you are charging this client. Changing a schedule row never rewrites the library.

Where products get used

Once a product is in the library it can be:
  • placed on a pinboard and linked to a pin, so the client sees the real piece;
  • added as a row on an FF&E schedule, where it picks up quantity, room, markup, tax and procurement status.
The Used in column tells you which. It is also a safety net — check it before you change a price on something that is already in front of a client.

Browse visually or as a list

Use Grid view for product image cards or List view for a compact list. Search works in either view. Open a product to inspect the exact variant and details; switching views does not create copies or change product data.
