What the list shows
The header shows how many products your studio holds — 411 products in
your studio.
Search
The search box matches on name and brand. It searches the whole library, not the current page, so there is no need to scroll first.Three ways to add a product
- Import from URL — Paste a vendor product page. Atelier pulls out the name, brand, price, dimensions and images.
- Chrome extension — Capture products as you browse, without leaving the vendor’s site.
- Add manually — For trade pieces, bespoke joinery and anything without a public page.
What a product record holds
Pricing lives in two places on purpose. The library holds the retail
price — what the piece generally costs. A schedule row holds what you
are paying the vendor on this job and what you are charging this client.
Changing a schedule row never rewrites the library.
Where products get used
Once a product is in the library it can be:- placed on a pinboard and linked to a pin, so the client sees the real piece;
- added as a row on an FF&E schedule, where it picks up quantity, room, markup, tax and procurement status.
