There are two ways to build with AI: AI Chat beside an open pinboard, and a task assigned to the AI teammate. Both produce editable board items for you to review.

Edit the board in front of you

  1. Open the target pinboard, then AI Chat.
  2. Name the page and the result you want. Pages are numbered from 1 in the app.
  3. Name the products, provide vendor links or attach the reference images you want to use.
  4. Wait while AI is editing… is visible. Avoid moving the same items during the edit.
  5. Review the page and product details. Refine with another request or edit by hand.

Prompts to try

AI Chat can add images, text and arrows; crop and remove backgrounds; move, align and distribute items; manage pages; read and post item comments; and approve or reject pins when asked. For product approval, name the destination schedule. These board editing abilities require the pinboard context in Atelier; the external Claude connector has a smaller tool set.

Ask for a scene or a comparison

For a scene, describe the room, the anchor piece and where objects belong relative to one another. For a comparison, ask for a row or grid. Say whether to add captions and which page to use. Provide product dimensions when relative scale matters. The result is a visual composition, not a measured drawing or proof that furniture will fit. Check dimensions, variants, pricing and image quality before presenting it.

Undo an AI edit

After the edit finishes, use Command+Z on Mac or Ctrl+Z on other keyboards, or the touch Undo button. AI edits join the open board’s editing history. Redo uses Command+Shift+Z or Ctrl+Shift+Z. Review any schedule changes separately. Editing history is not a permanent version archive, and it does not recall content someone has already seen through a shared link.

Build a draft through a task

Create a project task with the room brief, required pieces and references in its description. Assign it to the AI teammate in the assignee picker. The agent works in the background and posts progress and a link to the board on the task. For example: “Create a living room concept board for this project. Use warm neutrals, oak and olive accents. Include seating, a rug and lighting. Separate the overall direction from the product options.” Open the resulting board and check every page. If the AI teammate is unavailable or the task reports an error, use AI Chat or build manually rather than assuming a board was created.

Credits and review

AI work uses studio credits; usage depends on the work performed. Read AI credits for where to check consumption. Keep the final sourcing, approval and commercial decisions under your review. When offered after an AI turn finishes, Undo last change in AI Chat restores the last supported edit on the board currently open. The action disappears when that board is no longer open. Review the canvas after undoing.
