Use Copy to project for a specific new job, or Save as template to keep a reusable studio starting point. Both create a separate document; review its products, prices and wording for the destination project.

Copy to another project

  1. Open the source document’s actions menu in the project’s schedule or pinboard list, or the proposals list.
  2. Choose Copy to another project…, enter a name and select Destination project. Create another project first if none is available.
  3. For a pinboard, choose how its schedule should be handled:
  1. Choose Copy to project, then open and review the new document.

Save and use a template

Choose Save as template… in the document’s actions menu, give the template a clear name, then choose Save template. A studio template remains available independently of its original document. In the destination project, choose Use template for the document type, select the template and enter the new document name. For a proposal, select its project if prompted. A pinboard template saves only the board. Its schedule must be saved as a separate schedule template. When using a pinboard template, choose Pinboard only, Link an existing schedule, or Create a new empty schedule, then create the pinboard. This differs from copying a board together with its linked schedule.

What starts fresh

Check copied page visibility before sharing a board. Check variants, quantities, prices and the destination client before issuing any document. Copying a signed proposal creates a new draft; it does not transfer the original client’s acceptance.
